“A good traveller has no fixed plans and is not intend on arriving”
– Lao Tzu
WIDE WORLD (Lumea Larga) was a photographic journey which happened in 2008 – 2009, starting in Romania and passing through Ukraine, Russia, Mongolia, China, Tibet, Nepal, India, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Malaysia.
It was about searching for feelings in places we passed by, not only important landmarks, but also more remote and genuine areas where people live in a simple way, traditionally and closer to nature.
“The tourist sees what he has come to see. The traveller sees what he sees.”
– G. K. Chesterton
